Hello everyone and Happy New Year! We wish you a happy, light and gentle New Year. For you and your loved ones, and also for all our toddlers in all our programs, who we're sure will once again benefit from an outpouring of generosity, like the one that followed former top badminton player Arnaud Génin's appeal to help the local population in Mayotte. Nearly €15,000 was raised, with effective help from the very first days, literally saving lives. That's what Solibad is all about: providing emergency furniture when it's needed, and above all, when we know exactly where the funds we send are going.

For you and your loved ones, and also for all our toddlers in all our programs, who we're sure will once again benefit from an outpouring of generosity, like the one that followed former top badminton player Arnaud Génin's appeal to help the local population in Mayotte. Nearly €15,000 was raised, with effective help from the very first days, literally saving lives. That's what Solibad is all about: providing emergency furniture when it's needed, and above all, when we know exactly where the funds we send are going.

Today is a special day for us: we're celebrating 15 years of Solibad. 15 years of hard work, marked by sometimes difficult moments, but also moments of joy, smiles and hope. It may sound utopian or naive, but believe me: we're changing lives. Not only from a material point of view (even if the food, housing or education we sometimes finance are essential), but also through the care we give, the love we share, thanks to our incredible partners, these heroes, in the field.

This new Olympiad is off to a great start. Many of you are joining us in this new phase of our history.

In particular, clubs, committees and leagues in France and abroad. New volunteers have joined the new adventure and almost all of our ambassadors have decided to continue their commitment with us - we'll soon publish the list of stars who will officially support us until 2028. We also have good news from our programs, with a major commitment we're launching today in Rwanda with the purchase of a piece of land to build a home for wolf pups next year. It warms our hearts, and once again, it's all thanks to you. 

And in a few days, on December 10th to be exact, we'll be celebrating Solibad's 15th anniversary. With a few surprises in store. In the meantime, we encourage you to buy your tickets for the year-end raffle!

After an exceptional Olympic and Paralympic Games with our medal-winning ambassadors, a new season full of energy begins for Solibad! In this newsletter, you will find out about Loris Dufay's groundbreaking visit to Indonesia, where he shared his expertise with young local badminton players. Not forgetting the arrival of Emily-Rose and Léann in the civil service and the welcome of new volunteers for new solidarity initiatives.

This fall is also the opportunity for clubs, committees and leagues to sign or renew the new Solibad Charter, a strong commitment to support our solidarity projects through badminton.

We look forward to sharing this season with you, marked by Solibad's 15th anniversary and our annual raffle in December!

2023. A new year! And with it, new resolutions. Ours aren't exactly new - like every year, we're going to do our best to help these little (or big) buggers in France and elsewhere. This year, however, we're going to make a special effort to do more in France. There's a lot to do and a lot of need. We'll start with a wonderful partnership with a young association, Tirelires d'Avenir (see below), which helps young people who have reached the age of majority and whom we will support through... badminton! Thanks to the 3 clubs in the Ile-de-France region that have already responded - we'll be calling on others soon! I'd also like to take this opportunity to say goodbye to Manon, our volunteer, who will be leaving us at the end of the month - we'll miss her so much for her incredible commitment to us over the past year or so, since she did an internship before her community service. Marie will be staying on for a few more months, and Aurélie will be joining us in early February. We'll have a chance to introduce them to you. So, good luck to Manon and a happy new year to all of you. May it be beautiful, light and united.

The end of the year is fast approaching. Another year full of emotion, sharing and beautiful stories, despite the difficulties faced by children around the world. Like every year, we've done our best to support these young people. We also had a lot of fun trying to change their world in our own small way. We say it all the time, but getting involved in causes like this also gives us a great deal of happiness and joy. It gives meaning to our lives as Solibad volunteers. So if you're looking for something to do with your free time, which I'm sure you are, don't hesitate to join us. You'll see how rewarding and enjoyable it is. And if you really don't have the time to get involved, we're counting on your generosity next year, and even before that, especially when it comes to buying tickets for our incredible tombola, the grand prize of which is a trip for two to Denmark! We're back in the thick of things. The programmes are back in full swing, Solibad is receiving more and more requests for new projects, and we're bursting with ideas to expand our reach, collect more materials and raise more funds to make an even bigger impact. And all thanks to you. We're preparing some nice surprises for the end of the year (see below), and we're looking forward to a year of events and sharing in 2023, as always with a banana on our face. Thank you for your support, in your committees, leagues, clubs or simply as individuals, through your donations, your encouragement, your kindness. It gives us great courage and we can assure you that it makes a difference to the lives of children all over the world!

With 10 days to go, our newsletter will focus on the sporting event of the month: the Yonex Internationaux de France! Stand available, activities on offer, meetings and smiles... All the information you need about this crazy week and what we've prepared for you to enjoy from October 25 to 30 at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin can be found here. And a big thank you to the French Federation, who found a way for us to be present despite the closure of the Fan Zone for works.

It's back to school time! We hope you had a good vacation, and we wish all our clubs the very best for the new sports season. This year, we're going to need your help to give our programs their solid colors and make up for the covid years. All in good spirits, as always. In the meantime, here's what's new at Solibad.
